To make a relatively short story much longer than it needs to be. I got hooked on bluegrass about two years ago. But the journey begins much earlier.
It started 17 years ago when I went on a blind date with an Irish/Czech girl who is now my wife. Through her I started to go to our local Irish Fest. Turns out it's one of, if not THE, largest Irish music festivals in the world. I really like the old traditional Irish folk tunes which of course are at least part of the basis for bluegrass music. So I got hookede on bluegrass music because I fell in love with an Irish girl and Irish music. |
