Congratulations to the following Bluegrass Album of the Year nominees for the Nashville Music Awards. Originally produced and presented by Leadership Music from 1995-2000, the awards have been revived through a partnership between Next Big Nashville and Leadership Music and recognize excellence in all genres.
Dale Ann Bradley - "Don't Turn Your Back" Compass Records Dailey & Vincent - "Brothers from Different Mothers" Rounder Records The Grascals - "Keep on Walkin'" Rounder Records The Infamous Stringdusters - "The Infamous Stringdusters" Sugar Hill Records The Steeldrivers - "The Steeldrivers" Rounder Records Also, Alison Krauss is nominated for Artist of the Year, and The SteelDrivers are nominated for Best New Artist. Online balloting takes place at www.nashvillemusicawards.com until September 30. Winners will be announced at a reception on October 7, the first night of Next Big Nashville. |
