hello everyone
my name is matty and im 33 and live in london england and this is my story i have been playing guitar for about 12 years and love it with a real passion i have never had a lesson but i think im getting there lol i have played in a few band over hear in london but my reason for playing was always so that i could play to my two wonderful children (not that they saw it like that lol )as a child myself my mum was a dolly parton fan and my dad was a jonny cash nut so country music has always been in my blood but elvis was the one for me lol but whilst my mates was listerning to the beatles and the stones i was shacking my hips to hound dog lol then about 2 years ago i saw a programme on sky that said bluegrass rocks and thought id have a bit of that and when i watch it i honestly could not belive that music could be played with so much passion it blow me away and i had to know more about its history at the same time as finding the music that will be in my life forever i was also told i had a diease called fibromialgia after 17 years of test it was not a totol shock lol it just means i have to live in pain for life or untill they find something to help but thats a whole new story lol as you can tell i have always been a very positive person but it was knocked abit when the pain got so bad i had to stop going to work and there was no pain killer that even took the edge off it then i remembered bluegrass rocks and whent out and got myself a 5 string banjo and it was at that stage that i realized my life would have to change and not all for the worse no more football or soccer as you say lol no more gym but what i cud do was put all my effort into a new thing in my life called bluegrass and that i have lol and i can now say im totaly hooked on it lol can i also please just say since i found the wwb i can always find a smile no matter how i feel at the time every one i have spoken to in the chat room have been fantastic you all seem like real nice people please keep up the good work ans ill keep speading the word of bluegrass and the best station in the world the WWB thanks for reading my epic and sorry for the spelling lol have a good day all matty |
